Benefits For Students

The greatest benefit for Advanced Manufacturing Program (AMP) students is the opportunity to learn a valuable skill and the confidence that comes with that learning — rewards that will serve the student and their community for a lifetime. The commitment that AMP business sponsors make to their students includes personalized mentoring along with benefits and incentives to reach academic, personal and professional goals. AMP students earn money while learning how to navigate professional situations and work as part of a team. Our graduates are active participants in their community and their education.

Student Benefits Include

  • A $16 per hour wage, with an average of 10-15 hours per week
  • Students also earn 6 minutes of paid study time for every hour they work, to be used the next week
  • Coaching, mentoring and support
  • An education, not only in manufacturing, but in important life skills
  • Flexible scheduling, because school comes first
  • Up to $2,000 in a flexible scholarship that can be used towards post High School education

It pays to keep learning.

The AMP Incentive System is designed to encourage hard skill development, like academic and work performance, while also teaching soft skills like attendance and community service.

Points are awarded quarterly and can be redeemed for Amazon gift cards. Students can earn up to $250 per quarter.
